My boss went on some kind of grape cleansing diet – she ate only grapes and drank only water for about ten days. She lost quite a bit of weight, but she still can’t look a grape in the eye. 🙂
Yes I could imagine how hard that may have been and especially on a grape diet for 10 days even though I like grapes I don’t think I could eat them for 10 days in a row. However it is good to note that she lost some weight just not sure how healthy it may be to do it that way as your diet needs to be balanced.

Thanks for letting people know “up front” that there may be a 2-3 day time frame where the system is difficult. I think people often get started on new diets and cleansing programs with unrealistic expectations…
People seem to think it’ll be easy to make significant changes to their body and then the become demoralized and eventually give up when they encounter the typical “road blocks”.
I find it beneficial to write down my goals before starting any new diet plan – I then mark of each day, one at a time…it helps to keep me focused!

Cleansing diets would seem to be a normal part of a healthy livestyle. I have always shied away from them; however, because they are such a drastic departure from my normal diet. Also, I am a little afraid of the initial side affects (headache, etc). I am going to read the references you site in the hopes of working up enough courage to give it a try. 🙂
