How To Get Six Pack Abs In 12 Months
If you ever speak to a female about what they think is the most attractive part of the male body, it really wouldn’t be of any surprise to me if they said his six pack abs.
A brilliant toned and formed abdomen is the sexy part which women simply can’t help but get naturally attracted to.
Who wouldn’t think that way when in our society it’s a representation of the man having a fit, healthy, and robust physical condition which in most ladies eyes is an indication that he’s strong enough to defend them?
So, it isn’t shocking to see each gym full of men performing each workout possible to get the highly prized killer abs.
Ab crunches, leg elevations, sit-ups, along with different kinds of body twisting routines, those are the things which keep these men busy however, many of them are not successful in rendering the abdominal muscles visible and attractive.
Now, check the following to find out how what you think you know just isn’t so. If you are a female looking to tone the stomach area then please read this first.
Fallacy #1. To create a good rack of six pack abs, you must do abs-specific routines. You must do many sets of crunches, leg elevations, sit-ups, and other like exercising to develop those rock solid muscles faster.
The truth is, no matter the amount of repetitions of those routines you perform, it’ll be impossible to create rock solid muscle groups in your abdomen if there are layers of fat covering your stomach, since that fat must be removed first before you can work out on your muscles.
Otherwise, then your waist will expand and spare tires will get larger since those muscle groups created add to the fat.
So what do you really need to do to get those elusive six pack abs?
Firstly Get that fat off by taking care of your diet, making it the healthiest diet possible and one which gives the body every nutrient it requires to develop those sexy abs.
False Belief #2. Machines, slimming pills and supplements are what you need for quick development of killer abs. The truth is makers of all these items claim they function since they wish to receive revenue from these items.
Still, it is not a good idea to depend upon such machines because as mentioned over and over again, you require the proper ingredients in order to develop rock hard muscle groups. Those 3 things are proper diet, cardiovascular workouts, and quality training with weights.
Fallacy #3. You can consume anything you wish so long as you are rigidly working out. To display those ab muscles, you must lower or eliminate fats deposited around the stomach area and to do this, you have to lose fat permanently by having a mild calorie restrictive diet. Therefore, it’s not a bright idea to continue to permit oneself to consume whatever you wish even though what you know you are burning the calories while you’re exercising.
If you are not careful about what you eat and drink, all your workouts will be for nothing and the undesired calories as well as fat will stay. To avoid that, have a nice diet program for your specific requirements.

For example, taken post-workout, sugar is considered essential to restore insulin levels, but taken in excess before sleep is usually a request for more fat tissue. From past experience and as a rule of thumb, the longer you wait after a workout to indulge in some form of sugar, the more the detrimental effects begin to take over and outweigh the benefits.
I examined, proved and outlined in detail many problems affecting obese segments of the population. In the analysis of philosophy provided, the conclusion was that a conflict existed between the philosophy of the masses and science. For purposes of illustration, and to demonstrate relevance, we shall examine the types of questions asked by the masses and the scientific community, and shall examine the ramifications of the underlying thought processes as they apply to a career in bodybuilding.
For me, it’s all about being disciplined and staying motivated. I mean, you’ve obviously got to eat well but of course you can have the off binge sessions – I have one per week usually.
What has made everything change for me is doing multi-joint exercises – it builds up my biggest muscles which in turns rapidly boosts my metabolism – it’s worked so well.
Yeah! I agree that abdominal appearance of male is factors that girls could attract. Routines such curl-ups really help to create good abs. I keep working on it often. I believe that it is about being disciplines by one’s self on having wise diet and good exercise.
I agree that you need to adapt your diet but fat loss will improve with more exercise. There has to be a good mix to achieve results.

A healthy lifestyle and a regular exercise routine which incorporates some of the best abdominal exercises to get that six pack stomach in a year. What about paying attention to our diet and work through that list of the best abdominal exercises.
As some people can’t afford the machine to get abs in 1 year, they need to maintain doing a regular exercise. Yeah is good to follow the three thing mention but we should be careful while eating and drinking to get abs within one year.
I agree,But my advice is to do some sort of cardio for at least 30 minutes
Also, in order to lose at least a pound, you have to exercise daily over the course of a week.
But why is it so difficult for most people to get a six pack?

In order to six packs Abs in 12 months we need to work hard. Firstly we have to do is to maintain proper diet. Abs exercises like crunches, sit-ups, and abs machines are the LEAST effective method of getting flat six packs abs. we need not to waste money on expensive extreme fat burner pills. We should be committed to our goal like exercise regularly even we don’t have time too. Moreover we should stick with our diet and exercise and we will actually have those six packs abs.
The most common mistake that people continue to make is to focus on the abdominal trainings but forget on the nutritional needs in an effort to burn those fats away around the stomach.
what is best to get six pack for woman? what is recommend exercise for fast result?
Hi Brandy
Rather than going into huge detail here about abs and how to get them have a look at this post Six Pack Abs For Women…
Depending on the level of body fat, overall conditioning & level of motivation it IS possible to get toned visible six pack abs in 12 months. The most important aspect of the process is your diet. 90% of your results comes from the food you consume. The remaining 10% of your results comes from exercise. thanks for the tips.. I think we often believe that we need to do targeted exercises.. not true! It’s always good to review the myths.. thanks for the timely reminder!!
Protein powders or supplements are not needed. Neither is any form of illegal steroids. To learn how to get six pack abs in 12 months you need to know that only healthy methods will be used. If we use healthy methods then the results will be seen for a lot longer than if you turn to supplements.
I agree with you: exercise + diet + cardio is the best combination to get six pack abs quickly.
Great advice about watching your diet when trying to get that flat stomach. I think this is one part of the equation that many people either don’t consider, or are not willing to commit to. I think it is probably easier to do the physical work than to adjust diet, at least for me.
One point from your article I found interesting was the part about how woomen love the six pack. Some guys realize this but you still see so many over conentrating on chest and arms and not paying any enough attention to their abs.
Oh my gosh! this training looks horrible and wonderful at the same time. just the first one with the tire looks hard. I don’t understand how you can never do the same exercise? I like keeping it different, but I feel like it is pretty much impossible and not completely the best to not do some routine things or even just “the same” things.
Some of the makers of these abdominal exercise machines claim you can burn a lot of calories in one hour of time. You need to keep in mind that the results you get on one of these machines will depend on you.
Hi Jasmine…
My wife has been using the Ab circle pro over the last few months and has seen some good results with it… However you need to stick with because once she stopped the weight came back simply because the exercise was not enough with changing her eating habits as well.
Excellent advice, glad to see that someone is actually teaching people how to lose weight properly rather than sell gimmicky weight loss accessories and ab toners.
Hi and Welcome…
I am glad you liked it… As you have said there is so much rubbish online about weight loss and six pack abs that it is hard to figure what is right and wrong… For those that truely want to tone their abs there is no better way than using this program Truth About Abs by Mike Geary.
Wow very good tips. When you think about it, thats all there really is to it. There is no need for fads, supplements and abdominal machines. Just simple straigh advice and consistent effort. Thanks very much
You have dispelled many myths with this article! Thanks for posting such great information! A proper diet must be consumed in conjuction with exercise. Only then can the abdominals truly shine through!
You can definitely get a 2-pack without getting your body fat way down, which I suppose is better than nothing.
Thanks for the info. I just want to ask what types of food should one consume in order to obtain that 6-pack abs in a span of a short period of time. Thanks.
Hi Kristen
The best way to get that information is to follow this link The Truth About Six Pack Abs.
Proper diet and correct exercise is not enough. These should be combined with determination and self discipline. Strong will and drive to reach your goal is also important.

Most of the time the primary problem for people is they don’t get to the gym enough in the first place. Second is “confused diet” (not sure what to eat because they want to build muscle and lose fat at the same time), and third is not knowing the right routines to do in the gym. At least that’s what I’ve seen.
Hi and Welcome
Yes you are right with what you are saying here.. However there is one factor you have left out and that is that many people trying to get six pack abs want to see instant results with little effort. They also believe because they are doing exercise that they do not need to change the way they are eating which has a huge impact on their efforts.
True, those who say that ‘not allowing yourself from eating food is bad’ are liars. Eating too much food is bad but eating food isn’t, there’s a difference and that’s discipline. If you don’t have the money to buy facilities or to visit the gym regularly, running will be the best option for you. It is a good cardiovascular exercise and covers almost every part of the body.

“If you ever seek to query females what they believe to be the more attractive part within a male body, it is more likely the response you will receive is six pack abs”… – It’s unpersuasively. From my personal and my friends opinion the most attractive part of a male body is ARMS. Not bulky and puffed up arms, but strong, sinewy, moderately muscular arms with a light web of veins. I’m not saying that abs don’t play any role at all, it’s just not the most attractive part to us, women. I just can recommend this ab exercise I’ve heard from a friend of mine that helps to improve both arms and abs.
Good luck with females!:)
The truth is – we already have a six pack. Exposing those six pack muscles and shedding the visceral fat that covers them is the key to getting ripped abs. People often experience failure when beginning a fitness program due to a lack of motivating support and encouragement. The ability for weight reduction is partially a state of mind. If you don’t believe that you will lose weight and get a six pack, then you never will.
I’ve been doing all the exercise needed to get six pack abs. For 2 weeks so far I’m already building my abs. I have a three pack right now but I can tell in another week or 2 I will have a full 6 pack if I continue doing this every week.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is to introduce variety into my ab workout. We are creatures of habit and our physiologies unless we change things up regularly will turn the workout into a habit and no gain will be made.
“To display those ab muscles, you must lower or eliminate fats deposited around the stomach area and to do this, you have to lose fat permanently by having a mild calorie restrictive diet. ”
This is a good article, although I would argue with it about what most women find attractive.
Diet is very important, as you can’t see those abs if the fat sits on top. So first stop is to get on a diet that builds health and helps burn off extra fat. One good to follow for life, not just quick weight loss. Then start adding exercise in.
“My wife has been using the Ab circle pro over the last few months and has seen some good results with it… However you need to stick with because once she stopped the weight came back simply because the exercise was not enough with changing her eating habits as well.”
I totally agree… exercise can only do so much for your weight loss… dieting is a huge component in losing weight that most people either just try to compromise with some workouts and think that they can get away with having junk food just because “I was on the treadmill for 30 minutes today!” – Not!
Hi Michael,
My wife also was using the Ab Circle Pro and also found that it helped with weight loss, but as you have said one you stop using it the weight quickly returns. Even though this works it just goes to show that you need to also change you eating habits to maintain the weight you are losing.
“A brilliant toned and formed abdomen is the sexy part which women simply can’t help but get naturally attracted to.”
Nowadays we are too much prone to be obsessed with appearances . Ultimately we all want to live in a happy relationship and if you think you can attract the right woman with nice six-pack abs you’re doomed to fail in your relationship. How about investing an equal amount of time you put up for those exercises in developing social skills?
“The truth is, no matter the amount of repetitions of those routines you perform, it’ll be impossible to create rock solid muscle groups in your abdomen if there are layers of fat covering your stomach, since that fat must be removed first before you can work out on your muscles.”
Very true. Most people want an easy fix, but changing the way of eating is so important, so that some excess fat is dropped.
Besides the specific area of abs exercercises, it is important to work all muscles, and especially the core muscles. If some are weak and others strong, such as weak back muscles, the abs are not going to pop out either.
Hi Annette
Thanks for the great comment, and yes diet and doing all the right exercises while performing your abs routine is crucial to shape and form perfect abs.
I spent a large amount of time and effort at getting abs with now success. I later learned that exercise just was not enough. My diet was not good for losing that belly fat. I have bad genetics I guess because my fat is totally concentrated in my belly. But with a routine like this I think I can counter at least some of this misfortune. Thanks for the advice!
Hi Rzepecki
Yes you need a total mind shift when it comes to getting toned six pack abs, many people don’t understand that and by just doing stomach crunches everyday is not enough to see any benefit.
I guess my problem is that I am not sure exactly what type of diet is needed. Do you advise us to eliminate all fat and carbohydrates from our eating? Or will just counting calories be enough? Would high protein content be of good advantage? Do we stop eating breads and start eating baked chicken (no skin, of course) and fish? What are some key recommendations that you would make for a proper diet?
Hi Jen
I am not really qualified to advise you on what diet you should be on there are to many unknowns, however I have placed some links at the bottom of this post that you may want to check out for more information.
Hi, thanks for this post..i learned a lot..i have been watching the series biggest loser and I learned a lot from them too..but my only concern is that when it comes down to the winter season, my body will suddenly not want to work out and since it is the Christmas holidays, people tend to eat a lot..would you recommend a treadmill at home? I have been thinking about getting one but I am not treadmill assembly expert..so im apprehensive on getting one..
I want to have a 6 pack abs. I hope I could achieve it just have to focus and discipline myself.
Paul
I agree with you FREESIXPACK : exercise + diet + cardio is the best combination to get six pack abs quickly.
And to achieve the great body that you desire, you must have a healthy living and lifestyle.
Thanks for posting! Keep it up. I hope to read more of your blogs.!
Hi Rzepecki,
May I ask what is your routine for your abs? because it may differ on the program routine. I loved reading your post and I had fun doing it. This will serve as a great tip for newbies out there. Many thanks.
This is a great article. Three things you need to understand: eating habits, cardio workouts and weight training.
I do not belief with those weight lose supplements, some people are just out there to make money.
I could not agree with you more there is so much out there all being pumped by marketing and like nobody really knows what’s good or bad anymore.
That is quite easy to understand: that there are actually three ways to perfect abs and not only abs for that matter. For the rest of the body parts that you are working out on as well. Without one, the rest won’t follow.
