As much as feel for your friends complaint I can not make any suggestions as to what diet so should use, maybe her doctor could help or a qualified nutritionist is maybe a better choice for her to purse. Food poisoning can do a lot of strange things to our bodies especially with so many nasty organisms that are associated with food poisoning.
There’s also what we called lemonade diet wherein it involves drinking only lemonade or maple syrup. My friend follows this diet and i think it’s an effective diet for people out there who wants to improve digestive functions.
Raw eggs reminds me of a misspent youth incident. At 16 coming home from my first ever work Xmas party and my mother feeding me some raw egg concoction by way of punishment. Not sure what detox effect it had but it wasn’t something I ever repeated. Plenty of raw fruit and veges plus a few glasses of water every day seems to do the trick.
